PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday gave a speech in the Parliament on the reply to the 'Motion Of Thanks On the President's Address' in the Lok Sabha. He took a dig at the previous Congress for their history which included the Emergency and allegations and cases of corruption.

"We will continue our fight against corruption. We are being criticised that those who are accused of corruption are not in jail. This is not an Emergency that we put people in jail, this is democracy. That job belongs to the Judiciary and we follow the law. And if people are getting bail, let them enjoy it. Work should not be done with a feeling of vengeance. But we will continue to work against corruption. We will work with honesty. And the country has given us so much we need not use corrupt means," he said.
