Claiming that the BJP is enforcing 'their deity' on Bengal, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Sunday has alleged that the saffron party is attempting to push their deity - alluding to BJP's 'Jai Shri Ram' slogans while addressing a Martyrs' Day rally in Kolkata.

"I have a video clip where a BJP leader is saying 'Let Hindus die, then only we will win.' I found this video on social media. It's not Maa Durga or Maa Kali. It not Baba Bhola Nath or Ganapati. They are forcing their deity on us. Why should we allow that to happen?  They are teaching us religion," she said.

Slamming the BJP for asking Trinamool to return ' black money', she said that Trinamool was a party of the poor while calling BJP politicians dacoits.

"Shravani Mela has begun in Bengal and everybody is asking for money in the name of Bhole Nath. Why? We made the Tarakeshwar temple. BJP politicians are asking us to return the money. They are the biggest dacoits. How much money has the CPM government returned? Trinamool is a party of the poor," she added.

Announcing a state-wide protest on July 26, coinciding with Kargil Vijay Diwas, she said that Trinamool will protest demanding the return of black money "siphoned off" by the BJP. The Trinamool chief also alleged that the Central agencies were threatening Trinamool's elected representatives over chit fund scams, asking them to get in touch with the BJP.

She also pointed out how Congress General Secretary UP (East) Priyanka Gandhi and her own party's delegation were stopped by UP police from meeting the Sonbhadra massacre victims' families, while BJP delegations were allowed to enter Bhatpara inspite of section 144 imposed in the area.

Talking about the recent Lok Sabha victory in West Bengal, she repeated her claim that the saffron party won 28 seats by cheating using the help of EVMs, CRPF, Central police and Election commission.
