Commissioner of Delhi Police Amulya Patnaik refused to answer Republic TV's questions on #SunandaLeelaTapes. In the video footage, the Delhi Police Commissioner could be seen evading questions about the CCTV footage, apparently an important evidence in the Sunanda Pushkar murder case.

The CCTV footage purportedly reveals the identity of a mystery man who has been the missing link in the Sunanda Pushkar case. The mystery man, Rajan Rao in the fifth part of the 5-part investigation, admits that he was questioned by the police after the CCTV footage was examined. However, the Delhi police maintained that CCTV footage is not available.

The questions which remained unanswered as the Delhi Police Commissioner avoided Republic TV's questions over the missing CCTV footage:

  • Delhi Police you can run, but can you deny CCTV was handed to you?
  • Delhi Police you can run, but can you deny questioning Rajan Rao
  • Delhi Police you can run, but can you answer why Rajan Rao was at Leela?
  • Delhi Police you can run, but can you deny lying about CCTV footage?
  • Delhi Police you can run, but can you answer if Sunanda was found 'unconscious'?
  • Delhi Police you can run, can you explain why Tharoor's friend was at the murder site
  • Delhi Police you can run, but can you explain why Rajan Rao was overlooked in Probe?
  • Delhi Police you can run, but can you deny Tharoor's friend knows facts about the case?

Republic TV had put forth Sunanda murder tapes which were taped conversations between Republic TV’s Investigations Editor Prema Sridevi and Shashi Tharoor’s right-hand man, Narain. While Narain continues to be missing and not questioned, Republic TV continues to be determined to pursue the truth behind Sunanda Pushkar murder. This particular 5-part investigation reveals the person's identity who has been the missing link in the Sunanda Pushkar case. According to sources, he was inside the Leela Hotel when Sunanda was murdered and is also said to have information on the events that unfolded inside the hotel.
