Parts of Delhi to Face 12-Hour Water Cut: Check Timing, Affected Areas

New Delhi: Parts of national capital will face disruptions water supply on Wednesday, due to maintanance work being carried out by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB). The city will face water cuts for 12 hours till 10 pm today.

The maintenance work is being carried at outlet line of Deer Park BPS which supplies water to DDA flats in Munirka. Installation of a 500 mm dia flowmeter is under process in the area.

Water supply will not be available on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning as well.

"!! WATER ALERT!! Due to installation of 500 mm dia flowmeter at outlet line of Deer Park BPS feeding to DDA flats Munirka, water supply will be stopped from 10:00 A.M. on 18.09.2024 to 10:00 P.M. for 12 hours, therefore, water supply will not be available in evening of 18.09.2024 and in the morning of 19.09.2024 (sic)," the DJB had tweeted earlier on September 15.

List of Affected Areas

Several areas of the city including Green Park, Safdarjung Enclave, SDA, Haus Khas, Munirka, Kishangarh, Masjid Mod, Part of Mehrauli, IIT , INU, AIIMS, Safdarjung Hospital, and adjoining areas of Deer Park, will get affected.
