85-Year-Old Man Hit by Stray Ox in Meerut, Hospitalised | Disturbing Video Surfaces

Meerut: An elderly man sustained grievous injuries after he was attacked by a stray ox in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut.

The incident was reported on Wednesday. The attack was captured on CCTV. The video shows an elderly man passing by a stray ox just when it attacks the man unexpectedly. The ox can be seen attacking him with his horns and flings him in the air. Soon after the man was attacked, locals rushed to his rescue while the animal ran away.

In a similar incident reported earlier in June 2023, a man was killed in a ox attack in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida. The victim, Basheer (80), was out for a morning walk when the incident took place.

Media reports citing ppolice said that the last rites of the dead were carried out and they have not received an ycomplaint from the family over the incident.
