Another Encounter Breaks Out With Lashkar Terrorists In J-K's Rajouri After Kathua

Rajouri: Another encounter broke out in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) amidst an ongoing encounter in the Kathua district. According to the police sources, a group of Lashkar terrorists are trapped in the Thanamandi area of Rajouri in J-K. At least 2 to 3 terrorists are reportedly trapped in the area, where a massive encounter between the security forces and the Lashkar terrorists is underway. 

According to the Jammu and Kashmir police, based on specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists linked to the Lashkar outfit, a joint search operation was launched by security forces at Manial Gali under the jurisdiction of Thanamandi police station in Rajouri.

During the search operation, a contact was established with the terrorists and gunshots were fired from both sides. The entire area was cordoned off. 

Notably, this is the second massive encounter in Jammu after Kathua in 24 hours.
