IndiGo Flight Enroute Hyderabad Diverted Due to Bomb Threat, Airline Issues Statement

Nagpur: An IndiGo flight, travelling to Hyderabad from Jabalpur had to make an emergency landing in Nagpur following a bomb threat; the passengers were deplaned upon landing and proper security checks were initiated.

The IndiGo Flight 6E 7308, going from Jabalpur to Hyderabad had to make an emergency landing in Nagpur after a bomb threat.

Upon landing in Nagpur, all passengers on board were deplaned and prompt security checks were initiated.

IndiGo Airline Issues Statement

IndiGo Airline has issued a statement regarding the bomb threat on flight 6E 7308. 

The statement reads, “Flight 6E 7308 operating from Jabalpur to Hyderabad was diverted to Nagpur due to a bomb threat. Upon landing, all passengers were disembarked, and mandatory security checks were promptly initiated. Passengers were provided with assistance and refreshments, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

IndiGo Travel Advisory amid Hyderabad Rains

In another news, IndiGo issued a travel advisory today for passengers travelling to and from Hyderabad as Telangana is witnessing incessant rainfall.

The advisory read, “With heavy rains ahead for Hyderabad this morning, flight schedules may be impacted, and roads could be waterlogged. Please keep a tab on your flight status https://bit.ly/3DNYJqj and allow extra time for your journey to the airport. Happy and safe travels!”
