Haryana Exit Poll Results 2024: The Congress party is expected to dethrone the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) in Haryana by bagging nearly 60 seats in the 90-member Assembly where the majority mark is 46. For the unversed, the results of the 2024 Haryana exit polls are rolling in following the conclusion of the single-day polling for the Assembly elections. As per the Election Commission of India, the state saw a voter turnout of 61% by 5 PM.
Republic-PMarq, Matrize Exit Poll: Congress to Make a Comeback After 10 Years
As per Republic-PMarq exit poll predictions, the BJP is projected to win 27-35 seats of the total 90 seats in Haryana , INC+, on the other hand, is expected to make a comeback with 51-61 seats. Others can get 205 seats.

INC+ is expected to get 44% vote share, BJP + 37%, Others 19%.

As per the Republic-Matrize exit poll, the BJP is projected to win 18-24 with a 30.30% vote share. Congress is expected to win 55-62 with 35.80% vote share. JJP+ 0-3 with 6.60% vote share.

Congress leader & former CM Bhupinder Hooda said "I have been saying this since we started campaigning that there is a wave in favour of Congress. Congress will form a government with a thumping majority...The main factor was our achievements from 2005-2014 and the failure of the BJP government from 2014-2024- corruption and non-performance. We will work on unemployment, education and security...It (CM post) is everyone's right...This is democracy. Union MoS & BJP leader Ch. Krishan Pal Gurjar said, "...I am confident that BJP will form the govt by winning over 50 seats in the state..."

What Happened in the 2019 Haryana Assembly Elections?
In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) secured 40 out of 90 seats, while the Congress won 31 and the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) claimed 10. The BJP formed the government with support from the JJP, and several Independent MLAs also backed the party. However, the alliance between the BJP and JJP dissolved in March when the BJP replaced Manohar Lal Khattar with Saini as the chief minister.
