New Delhi: The Assembly elections in Jharkhand will be held in two phases on November 13 and November 20, Election Commission of India announced on Tuesday.
Over 2.6 crore voters will exercise their franchise in the upcoming elections, ECI said.
The counting of votes will be done on November 23.
In the 2019 Assembly elections, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha won 30 seats, while BJP came second with 25 seats. Congress won 16 seats and made a coalition with JMM to form the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
