A speeding car flung a man walking on the side of the road into the air.

A hit-and-run case has been reported in Maharashtra's Kolhapur city where a speeding car hit a man walking on the side of a road at night, throwing him in the air.

The man is critically injured and is undergoing treatment; the driver is on the run.

The hit-and-run case has been reported in the Unchagaon village near Maharashtra's Kolhapur and the horrific accident is caught on camera.

It can be seen in the video that the driver driving at an extremely high speed, threw the young man in the air.

The name of the man walking on foot is Rohit Happe; the incident happened on Friday night when he was returning home at night. 

The driver fled after the incident, police is searching for the driver.
