TMC Leader Posed as Abhaya's Uncle, Threatened River of Blood Will Flow If...: BJP's Shocking Claim

Kolkata: Almost two months after the Kolkata Rape and Murder Case, BJP 's Suvendu Adhikari has made a massive claim that a man, who had joined TMC , posed as Abhaya's uncle and threatened the doctors' team for a hurried postmortem so that that body could be quickly cremated.

In a post on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), Suvendu Adhikari has made a shocking claim. According to his post, forensic Doctor Apurba Biswas, who was a member of the team which conducted the post-mortem on the 31-year-old Junior Lady Doctor; raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College, was summoned by the CBI. While leaving after the questioning, he made a explosive revelation to the journalists that they were threatened by a man who posed as Abhaya's uncle.

'River of Blood Will Flow If…'

Adhikari's tweet further said that the man threatened the team that a ‘river of blood' will flow if the postmortem is not completed within the day. The post further said, “He said that there was a guy who identified himself as the victim's uncle and kept threatening that if the post mortem isn't completed within the end of the day then 'river of blood' will flow. That person was an Ex Councillor.”

Ex-Councillor and TMC 's Sanjib Mukherjee's Involvement in RG Kar Case

The person is Sanjib Mukherjee. He is the former CPIM Councillor of Panihati Municipality, who joined TMC later on and became a close associate of Panihati TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh. Everyone knows that the victim was cremated in haste. The Police were monitoring the operations at the crematorium and there was an extraordinary hurry at the crematorium to dispose off the body. 

Panihati MLA; Nirmal Ghosh was himself present as per the instructions of Mamata Banerjee . Strangely, this Sanjib Mukherjee is the signatory on the Cremation Certificate, without being a kin of the victim. There's also another name/signature on the document - Somenath Dey. There is another former TMC Councillor of Panihati Municipality with the same name. Is he the same person?
