BSF Recovers Made-In-China Drone In Punjab’s Tarn Taran

Tarn Taran: A made-in-China drone coming from across the international border has been recovered in Punjab 's Tarn Taran district, an official statement said on Sunday.

According to BSF, based on information from the BSF intelligence wing about the presence of a drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district, a joint search operation was carried out in the suspected area.

“During the search operation, at about 02:00 pm, troops successfully recovered one drone from a harvested farming field adjacent to village Wan in Tarn Taran District,” said BSF.

The recovered drone has been identified as a DJI Mavic 3 Classic, manufactured in China.

According to a press release, coordinated efforts between the BSF and Punjab police led to the successful recovery of yet another illicit drone from across the border.

Earlier on Thursday, the BSF seized 13 kilograms of suspected heroin in the Tarn Taran Border district of Punjab . The Public Relations Officer of the Punjab Frontier BSF stated that the recovery occurred following credible information about narcotics hidden in a hume pipe in the border area.

In response, BSF troops conducted a thorough search of the area. On the same day, they, along with Tarn Taran Police, carried out another search operation, resulting in the recovery of an improvised drone assembled in Pakistan .
