Chennai 5-Hour Power Cut: Nolambur, Radhakrishnan Nagar Among Affected Areas on October 15 | Details

As per reports, the power supply will be shut due to maintenance work and the services will be resumed after the work is completed.

Chennai: Power supply will be disrupted in many areas of Chennai for as many as five hours on Tuesday, October 15. As per reports, the power supply will be shut due to maintenance work and the services will be resumed after the work is completed. The scheduled power cut will be from 9 am to 2 pm.

This comes as the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) issued a 'heavy' rainfall warning for several districts in Tamil Nadu, predicting intense rain from October 12 to 16.

Several schools and colleges have been shut as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, the CM Staling-led government also directed IT companies in the affected districts to allow their employees to work from home from October 15 to 18 to reduce travel risks.
