Chennai: Eight flights have been cancelled amid torrential rainfall and adverse weather conditions in Chennai, according to an official statement. Indigo Airlines also issued a travel advisory, requesting passengers to closely monitor their flight status as heavy rains in Chennai and surrounding areas have disrupted flight schedules, leading to delays at Chennai International Airport.

In a tweet, Indigo Airlines advised passengers to stay updated on their flight status and allow extra time to reach the airport due to the severe weather.
