Pune: Three people held in Kondhwa for possessing arms, ammunition
Three people comprising two history sheeters and a fire arms supplier were arrested by Pune Police from the Kondhwa area on Monday.

Seven illegal pistols, 24 live cartridges worth Rs 3.62 lakh were allegedly recovered from the possession of the accused persons.
The police conducted the operation as a part of a citywide carckdown in illegal firearms possession.
According to Santhosh Sonwane the Senior Police Inspector of Kondhwa Police station of Pune City police, after a tip off was received, the detection branch's officer identified two individuals frequently seen near Yevlewadi area with holstered pistols.
The police raid a trap on December 14 in the market area and successfully apprehended the suspects. Sonwane told ANI.
The duo have been identified as Sandesh alias Sanjay Ankush Jadhav and Shivaji alias Shiva Bhau Kudekar, he further said.
Three additional pistols and nine live cartridges were recovered n further investigation at Kudekar's residence, he added.
Kudekar revealed that the firearms were obtained from Omkar Barnala in Madhya Pradesh, rallying into apprehension of the third accused Rahul Nan Singh Lingwale in Jalgaon district.
However, Barnala managed to escape. (With inputs from ANI)
