Delhi court's action on ED chargesheet against Sanjay Singh: Production warrant issued
The ED had arrested the AAP leader on October 4 after conducting searches at his residence and office.

New Delhi: Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has taken cognisance of the chargesheet filed by Enforcement Directorate (ED) against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh in the connection with now-cancelled liquor excise policy in Delhi on Tuesday, December 19. The ED had filed the chargesheet against Singh on December 2.
The court has also issued a production warrant to Sanjay Singh in the case. The court has asked Sanjay Singh to appear on December 21.
The ED had arrested the AAP leader on October 4 after conducting searches at his residence and office. As per the agency, Delhi based businessman Dinesh Arora, also accused in the case, had met Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in the presence of Sanjay Singh. Arora had also met Singh at an event where he came in touch with former deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia, as per ED. Arora has been arrested by the ED as well as Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
