A fire broke out in a house in Delhi's Pitampura on Friday and was successfully extinguished after 2.5 hours, according to fire department officials. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Upon receiving the emergency call, five fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the location.
The firefighting operation, which started in the afternoon, took around 2.5 hours to bring the flames under control. Visuals from the scene showed thick smoke billowing from the house as the fire raged. The fire began on the fourth floor of the building, and the cause is yet to be determined, officials said.
