Delhi Shooting: Man and Nephew Shot Dead In Shahdara, 10-Year-Old Injured

New Delhi: A shocking incident occurred in Delhi's Shahdara district on Thursday evening, when two armed men opened fire outside a residence in the Farsh Bazar area, killing two including a 16-year-old minor. During the firing incident, a 10-year-old child also sustained bullet injuries and was shifted to a hospital. 

According to the information, the deceased, identified as Akash Sharma (40) and his nephew Rishabh Sharma (16), were brutally gunned down while celebrating Diwali outside their home at around 8 pm on Thursday. Akash's son, Krish Sharma (10), was also injured in the incident and is currently undergoing treatment.

Eyewitnesses reported that the accused touched Akash Sharma's feet before opening fire, suggesting a possible personal enmity motive. The police have initiated an investigation and are recording statements from the victims' family members. 

The incident has sent shockwaves in the entire Farsh Bazar area as the police are working to nab the culprits at the earliest.
