Sports Teacher Inappropriately Touches Class 11 Girl At Govt School In Delhi

New Delhi: A teacher has been accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old student in a classroom of a government school in Sultanpuri area of outer Delhi on Friday. The incident has triggered protests by the relatives of the student, police said.

The family members and neigbhours of the student gathered outside the police station and demanded action against the teacher, a senior police official said.

According to the victim's father, his daughter called him in the afternoon stating that her sports teacher touched her inappropriately during the class and threatened her during the act.

He further said that they approached the school principal and also informed the local police about the matter. Further investigation is underway, the officer added.
