Prayagraj: The North Central Railway has introduced a direct train service from Subedarganj station in Prayagraj to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, fulfilling a long-pending demand of devotees. The service began on Thursday, with the aim of making travel easier for pilgrims from Prayagraj and surrounding areas.

• Departure from Prayagraj: The train departs from Subedarganj station at 10:35 a.m. daily.
• Arrival at Katra: It reaches Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 9:15 a.m. the next day.
• Departure from Katra: The train departs from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 3:20 p.m. daily.
• Arrival at Prayagraj: It arrives at Subedarganj station at 12:35 p.m. the following day.
