As the country celebrates the grand festival of Dussehra today, large crowds are expected to gather for Ravan Dahan ceremonies in Noida and Delhi. In light of this, special traffic advisories have been issued by the police in both cities. Major roads will remain closed, and several routes will be diverted. If you plan to step out in Noida or Delhi, it is essential to check the advisory to avoid disruptions.

Road Closures in Noida A traffic advisory for Noida has been in effect since 2 PM on October 11, 2024, ahead of the Dussehra festivities. Key routes, particularly near Noida Stadium (Sector 21A) and Sector 62, are closed. Roads leading to Sector 12/22 from the stadium area will remain restricted for vehicular movement until the Dussehra events conclude.

Directions From Noida Police

Alternative Routes in Noida Vehicles traveling from Rajnigandha Chowk to Sector 12/22/56 will be diverted via Sector 10/21 U-turn, passing through Jalvayu Vihar Chowk, Nithari, Sector 31/25 Chowk, NTPC, and Gijhod. For vehicles heading towards Noida Stadium from Sector 12/22/56, alternate routes include Sector 57, Gijhod Chowk, and Sector 31/25.

Delhi Route Diversions Noida Police has also issued guidance for those traveling between Noida and Delhi. Commuters using the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and heading to Delhi via Kalindi Kunj Border will be diverted at Charakha Roundabout towards Dalit Prerna Sthal. Alternatively, vehicles can use DND Flyway or Chilla Road to reach their destination.
