Entitled VVIP Puja Khedkar's IAS Training Put On Hold Amid Selection Row

Pune: In a major embarrassment amid selection row in the civil services exam, the District Training Program of VVIP probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar was put on hold on Tuesday. 

VVIP Asked To Immediately Return 

The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, decided to place Khedkar's training on hold and ordered her immediate return for further necessary action by July 23.

"You're Hereby Relieved…"

The letter from Nitin Gadre, Additional Chief Secretary (P) read , "It is informed that Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie has decided to keep your District Training Program on hold and immediately recall you for further necessary action. Therefore, you are hereby relieved from District Training Programme of State Government of Maharashtra. The letter from the Academy is attached herewith. You are instructed to join the Academy at the earliest but not later than 23rd July, 2024 under any circumstances."

The 34-year-old came into the limelight after reports about her alleged demands for a separate office and official car and the unauthorised use of a beacon in her private car emerged.

Khedkar Dodges Questions By Republic TV

When Republic TV questioned Khedkar over allegations of using fraudulent means to clear her civil services exam, including allegedly misrepresenting herself under the physical disabilities and OBC categories, she clearly evaded the questions and refused to answer by saying that addressed the media a while back.

Khedar Allegedly Faked Disability

Fresh reports also suggested that Khedkar allegedly secured admission at Pune's Kashibai Navale Medical College in 2007 for MBBS through the college's entrance examination and not the Common Entrance Test (CET) score and also lacked any sort of disability. 

Khedkar Obtained Locomotor Disability Certificate From Pimpri Hospital

A senior official on Tuesday said that Khedkar had obtained a partial 'locomotor disability' certificate from a hospital at Pimpri in Pune in August 2022.

Khedkar Lied About Mental, Visual Disability?

A 2023-batch officer from Ahmednagar, Khedkar allegedly lied about her mental and visual condition to secure an officer's post despite an unimpressive score in the Civil Services Exam. 

Khedkar Accused of Misusing Caste Certificate

Khedkar was accused of misusing her caste certificate to secure admission using the Other Backward Class (OBC) non-creamy later quota and securing admission under the Nomadic Tribe-3 category reserved for the Vanjari community.
