Fire Breaks Out in Greater Noida Due to Leakage in IGL Pipeline

Greater Noida: A fire broke out at 14th Avenue in Greater Noida West's Gaur City following a leakage in IGL pipeline.

The blaze erupted near parking area, creating panic among residents. 

Visuals have emerged from the fire site, where flames can be seen erupting near parking area where many vehicles were parked. 

Soon after locals noticed the flames, fire department was alerted.

The maintenance team of the society rushed to the scene and launched a firefighitng operation even before the firetenders arrived. The fire has been brought under control.The parked vehicles were immediatey removed from the fire site.

It is learnt that construction work was underway in adjacent housing society 'Palm Olympia' where a short circuit was reported which further triggered the fire in the gas pipeline in 14th Avenue.
