PM Modi likely to flag off India’s first Amrit Bharat train between Ayodhya, Mithilanchal on Dec 30
The train between Ayodhya and Darbhanga will have a sacred connection to the upcoming consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
India’s first Amrit Bharat push-pull train equipped with enhanced features to give the experience of extra comfort to the passengers is to be launched soon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to flag off two Amrit Bharat trains on December 30th between Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya and Bihar’s Darbhanga along with another one, which will connect South Indian states.
It is being said that the train between Ayodhya and Darbhanga will have a sacred connection to the upcoming consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. According to the sources, this train will connect UP’s Ayodhya, which is the birthplace of Lord with Bihar’s Mithilanchal in Darbhanga, which is the birthplace of Sita.
Amrit Bharat train is equipped with several new features
Sources also reveal that PM Modi will be in Ayodhya on December 30, where he is expected to flag off the trains along with six new Vande Bharat Express train services during a special event.
Officials disclosed that the new Amrit Bharat train is a push-pull train having a locomotive at each end for the push-pull operation, allowing the train for faster acceleration. The new train has hues of orange and grey colour and has several new features to give extra comfort to the passengers.
Features of Amrit Bharat train
The train is equipped with jerk free semi permanent couplers, which can attain a maximum speed of 130 kmph. It has fully sealed gangways, improved design light weight foldable snack table, mobile charger with suitable holder and foldable bottle holder, aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically designed seat and berth with improved colour blending. It has zero discharge FRP modular toilet, radium illumination flooring strip, Aerosol Based Fire suppression system in toilets and electrical cubicles and faster acceleration for reduced travel time.
