Gurugram: A few days ago, a biker lost his life in Gurugram due to the fault of a car driver who was driving on the wrong side; what was more shocking was that the accused was released on bail, the same night of the accident. Republic has confronted the ACP and has asked him why the accused was allowed to leave.
‘Why Was Accused Allowed to Leave?’: Republic Questions ACP
Republic TV has questioned the Gurugram Police officers for their lackadaisical approach in SUV-bike crash incident in Gurugram, which claimed the life of an innocent man. Republic has put forth some hard-hitting questions before the ACP including why the accused was allowed to leave despite committing a crime that claimed a life.
Republic asks if the accused lied to Gurugram Police that he has a driving licence then why Gurugram Police allowed him to leave and bring his driving license. The ACP confessed to Republic TV on camera that Gurugram Police gave the accused an opportunity to bring his driving license and assumed that the accused is a 25-year-old young man who will be back with his DL.
Another major flaw in the investigation pointed out was that eight days have passed in the investigation but the forensic report is still not out.
Main Accused ‘Missing’, Did Not Return with Driving License
In another update, the main accused in the Gurugram Biker's Death case, Kuldeep Kumar Thakur is still ‘missing’ from the police. Accused Kuldeep Thakur still has not presented his driving license to the Gurugram Police. While there isn't a lot of information about where Kuldeep Thakur is, as per police sources, there is a high possibility that accused left for his hometown in Bihar ’s Madhubani district after getting bail.
After this the police have added another section of the Motor Vehicles Act against him. The police have added the section of driving without a license against the accused. According to police sources, Section 105 BNS (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) may be added after receiving the forensic report.
Horrific Car-Bike Crash in Gurugram
A young motorcyclist, Akshat Garg, lost his life in a devastating road accident on Sunday night. The incident occurred when Garg's bike collided head-on with a Mahindra SUV coming from in the wrong direction.Despite efforts to save him by fellow bikers, Garg succumbed to his severe injuries. According to an eyewitness and friend of the victim, the accident took place on a high-speed lane. Fellow biker alleges that the accused driver, was driving recklessly and in the wrong direction, leading to the fatal collision.
