Washington: Both Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are engaged in a war of words during the ongoing presidential campaign on Saturday. The political rivals clashed, with Harris calling Trump 'just plain weird,' while Trump retaliated by labelling her as 'evil' and 'unhinged'.

Harris's comments came after President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the presidential race and her endorsement by prominent Democrats, including President Biden, former President Barack Obama, and Michelle Obama.

During a private fundraiser featuring singer-songwriter James Taylor, Kamala Harris criticised Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance, describing their rhetoric as 'just plain weird.' Kamala even termed Donald Trump as 'Evil'.

"Donald Trump has been resorting to some wild lies about my record. And some of what he and his running mate are saying, well, it's just plain weird," Harris remarked.

In response, Trump accused Harris of wanting to "destroy the country" and attacked her positions on public safety and immigration. He went further, claiming that Harris would be even worse than Biden, asserting that her presidency would end the American dream.
