In the 2019 Haryana polls, the AAP had contested 46 seats but failed to win a single seat.
The announcement marks AAP's strategic push into Haryana politics, with its leadership focusing on expanding the party's influence in the state.
Dalal vs Phogat in Julana
Kavita Dalal, a noted social worker, faces Vinesh Phogat , an Olympic wrestler and a well-known name in Haryana . The Julana constituency is set for a high-profile battle between these two influential women. AAP's decision to field Dalal indicates its aim to challenge Congress ' stronghold in the region.
With elections drawing near, AAP's focus remains on providing an alternative to traditional political players like Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ). The party’s leadership expressed confidence in their candidate's ability to deliver change.
