Hathras Stampede: Republic Accesses Numbers Used to Contact Godman as He Remains Untraceable
Republic has accessed the numbers that have been used to contact the self-styled godman, after the deadly Hathras Stampede; 'Bhole Baba' remains untraceable.

Hathras: The self-styled godman ‘Bhole Baba’ whose ‘satsang’ in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh turned into an absolute horror after a stampede, has been absconding for the last two days.
In a major update, Republic has accessed the phone numbers that were used to contact the godman for hours after the stampede that killed over 120 people.
Republic Accesses Numbers Used to Contact Godman
‘Bhole Baba’ left the venue after the ‘satsang’ at around 1:40 pm and was first contacted at 2:48 pm by his organiser Dev Prakash Madhukar; he may have given the information about the stampede. The call was made by the number 7017802984 and the call lasted for about 2 minutes 17 seconds.
From 2 pm to 4:35 pm, the godman's location remained his Mainpuri Ashram and during this time, he received a total of three calls.
The first call was made from the number 7895065240, by Mahesh Chandra and the call lasted for three minutes.
The second call was made by Sanju Yadav from the number 8859109568 and the duration of this call was only 40 seconds.
The third and the final call after which ‘Bhole Baba’ has been untraceable, was made by the number 7017802984 which is in the name of Ranjana; the call went on for 11 minutes 33 seconds.
Ranjana, is the wife of the organiser who made the first call and it seems that he used his wife's phone to contact the godman after the stampede.
Exclusive CCTV Footage of Godman Fleeing from Venue
Caught on cam, is the self-styled godman Bhole Baba, who has been absconding since the deadly stampede at the end of his ‘satsang’. In this CCTV footage, you can see ‘Baba’ escaping from the venue in his car.
The video begins with men, presumably devotees of the self-styled godman making a human chain. Once the human chain is ready, a fleet of cars from between the human chain formed; one of the cars had Bhole Baba.
Hathras Stampede: 6 Arrested, Rs. 1 Lakh Reward Announced on Main Accused
Days after 121 people lost their lives in the Hathras stampede, the Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday arrested 6 people, including the Satsang organiser. “Six people including four men and two women have been arrested in the incident. They all are members of the organising committee and worked as Sevadars”, said IG (Aligarh Range) Shalabh Mathur.
The Aligarh IG also mentioned that Rs 1 lakh reward has been announced on the arrest of the main accused, Prakash Madhukar. "When the stampede occurred, the six 'Sevadars' who are now arrested had run away from the site. Rs 1 lakh reward is being announced on the arrest of the main accused, Prakash Madhukar. Soon, a non-bailable warrant will be issued against him. We will also investigate if this incident occurred due to a conspiracy," he added.
Bhole Baba's Connection to NEET Paper Leak Scam
Republic World has learnt that Bhole Baba held a Congregation in Kandoli, Dausa in November 2023, drawing more than one lakh followers. Further investigations revealed that Bhole Baba's gatherings frequently took place at Harshvardhan’s residence, who is accused of leaking papers for 12 different exams.
Sources further indicated that Narayan Sakaar Hari held court at Harshvardhan’s house four times a month. The house itself was transformed into an ashram, with a private security force deployed during the godman's visits. Thousands of forms of sevadars, primarily women, were found inside the residence, indicating a large network of devotees. The majority of these forms belonged to devotees from Uttar Pradesh.
