Heavy Rainfall Lashes Noida, Severe Traffic Disruptions Due to Waterlogging

Noida: Noida and parts of Delhi NCR were severely affected by waterlogging on Tuesday morning following a heavy downpour in the early hours. The incessant rain led to massive traffic disruptions, leaving commuters stranded and causing significant delays across the region.  

Visuals from the scene showed submerged vehicles and roads, particularly on Minto Road, where parked vehicles were almost entirely underwater.

IMD has issued a yellow alert for the National Capital Region predicting heavy rainfall in the region.  

Amid heavy rainfall, minimum temperature in Noida today is likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature might reach 32 degrees Celsius.   

Heavy downpour across the capital region including noida is also predicted on Saturday as well, as per reports.
