Hindu Temple Vandalised with Hateful 'Anti-India' Graffiti in Canada

Edmonton: In a shocking incident, a Hindu temple in Canada has been vandalised with Anti-India graffiti amid rising concerns over extremist activities.

The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Edmonton, Canada was defaced and concerns over the same have been raised by the authorities.

As mentioned earlier, the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Canada's Edmonton has fell victim to vandalism. Chandra Arya, Member of Parliament for Nepean has voiced his concern over these hateful activities.

In a post on the social media platform 'X' (formerly known as Twitter), Chandra Arya said, “The Hindu temple BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Edmonton is vandalised again. During the last few years, Hindu temples in the Greater Toronto Area, British Columbia, and other places in Canada are being vandalised with hateful graffiti.”

Chandra Arya further reiterated, “As I have always been saying, Khalistani extremists seem to get away with ease with their public rhetoric of hate and violence. Again, let me put it on record. Hindu Canadians are legitimately concerned. Like a broken record, I again call on Canadian law enforcement agencies to take this issue seriously before these rhetorics get translated into physical action against Hindu Canadians.”

Hindu Places in Canada Not Targeted for the First Time

This is not the first time that a Hindu place of worship in Canada has been targeted; this violence directed to the Hindu-Canadian communities is not new.
