Hyderabad Hit-and-Run: Woman Flung For Several Meters as Speeding Car Rams Her | WATCH

Hyderabad: A woman sustained severe injuries after being struck by a speeding car on a busy street in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on Sunday in the Vanasthalipuram area and was captured on a surveillance camera.

A video of the incident has been going viral on social media. In the video, the 21-year-old pedestrian can be seen walking along the road when a black car, coming at high speed, hit her from behind. The impact was so intense that the woman was flung several feet into the air before landing on the road.   

Bystanders quickly gathered to help the injured victim, who was lying on the ground.

The woman was rushed to a hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Her condition is said to be stable. The driver of the car fled the scene immediately after the collision. However, the police have since identified the vehicle and arrested the driver. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing.

This incident comes days after a 10-year-old girl named Kameshwari lost her life, after being struck by a truck. The girl was was riding on a pillion when the mishap took place in the Habsiguda area. The CCTV footage of that incident had also gone viral on social media platforms.  

Kameshwari was returning home from school with her mother and younger brother when the truck, coming from the Uppal area, collided with their scooter.
