New Delhi: Heavy rainfall is being experienced by the residents of Delhi and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued a rain alert for the national capital.
Amid the torrential rains, IndiGo has issued a travel advisory for passengers travelling to and from the Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The downpour in the national capital has resulted in major traffic snarls, waterlogging and also flight delays.
As Delhi continues to witness heavy rain, IndiGo has issued a travel alert for all the Delhi Airport passengers, warning them of potential flight delays due to unfavourable weather.
The travel advisory by IndiGo reads, “We want to keep you informed that our departures and arrivals are still experiencing delays, which may continue through the morning. We understand that waiting through the night can be bothersome and inconvenient, and we sincerely regret the discomfort this may cause.”
The airline further said, “Please be assured that our dedicated airport teams are on hand to assist you and are working diligently to make your wait as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your patience and continued support.”
