Maharashtra Shocker: Suspecting wife of having extra-marital affair, a man killed four of his family members at his in-laws' residence in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. The incident took place on Tuesday, December 19, around 11:00 PM in Tirzada village. As soon as the incident came to light, police nabbed the accused Govinda Veerchand Pawar, a native of Kalamb and registered a case against him.
After investigation, police officers have revealed that the assailant had suspicions about his wife's character, leading to a heated altercation between the couple. Following the confrontation, the accused's wife went to her parents' residence. The accused also followed her and around 11 PM on Tuesday night, he ruthlessly killed his wife, mother-in-law, and two brothers-in-law in a brutal act of violence.
The deceased have been identified as Pandit Bhosle (father-in-law), Sunil Pandit Bhosle (brother-in-law), Dnyaneshwar Pandit Bhosle (brother-in-law), and Rekha Govinda Pawar (wife). Another family member Rukhma Pandit Bhosale is seriously injured and undergoing treatment in a hospital.
The tragic event has sent shockwaves through the community, marking a distressing chapter in the aftermath of a family dispute.
