New Delhi: A man was beaten to death in Delhi’s Burari by four persons after a quarrel occurred over a mobile phone.

The accused, identified as Aman, Manav, Rudraksha, and a 17-year-old minor. All have been apprehended, police said.

Police also said that it recovered a motorcycle, a scooter, and three mobile phones belonging to the accused. The clothes worn by the suspects at the time of the incident have also been seized, according to the police.

Police further added that a mobile phone belonging to one of the accused, Manav, had been taken by a drug addict named Dinesh, who claimed he needed it for a call but never returned it. When Manav, along with the other suspects, went to Dinesh's house to recover the phone, they found he was not there.

In their anger, the suspects demanded that Dinesh’s mother return the phone. Dinesh later arranged for his acquaintance, Sumit Khatri, to deliver the phone to the suspects at Nathupura Bus Stand in Burari, Delhi. Upon seeing the phone with Sumit, the suspects violently attacked him, leading to his death, according to police.
