Man Beaten To Death In UP's Shahjahanpur Over Rs 500 Tip For Decorating Tractor

A man in UP's Shahjahanpur was allegedly beaten to death over a Rs 500 tip in the Puvaya police station area for decorating a tractor during Navratri.

Shahjahanpur: A man in UP's Shahjahanpur was allegedly beaten to death over a dispute over a Rs 500 tip in the Puvaya police station area for decorating a tractor during the Navratri festival. A senior police official said that the 40-year-old man was attacked and beaten brutally with sticks, which led to his death in Shahjahanpur's Puvaya. 

Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Manoj Kumar Awasthi said that the incident occurred at a tractor agency in the Puvaya police station area.

Additional SP Awasthi stated, "On Thursday, a quarrel broke out between two men, Dharampal and Ram Pratap, over Rs 500 in tip for decorating a tractor sold during the Navratri festival. The dispute escalated, and Ram Pratap attacked Dharampal with sticks, leaving him critically injured." 

Dharampal was rushed to a hospital but he succumbed to his injuries, the police officer said.

He said the police have registered a murder case and arrested the accused, who has been sent to jail by the local court. \

Further legal action in the case is being taken.
