Man's Body Found Floating In Pond In UP’s Kaushambi

The body of a 22-year-old man was discovered floating in a pond near Ajmat Ganj Rain Basera in Chayal town on Monday. The local police quickly responded to the scene, with the body being retrieved and sent for post-mortem examination.

The deceased has been identified as Ajay Kumar, also known as Natu, a resident of Chayal town. According to his family, Ajay had left home two to three days ago and had not returned, leading to growing concerns about his whereabouts.

Pipri Station House Officer (SHO) Balram Singh confirmed that the family has not expressed any suspicion of foul play at this time. The police are awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the cause of death before taking any further legal action. The incident has left the local community in shock as they await answers regarding the young man's untimely demise.
