Massive Fire Engulfs At Pharmaceutical Factory In Maharashtra's Palghar

Palghar: A massive fire broke out in a pharmaceutical factory in Palghar district of Maharashtra on Sunday. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and the fire spread across the factory, leading to a panic-like situation among the workers. On information, the local police and teams of firefighters rushed to the spot and efforts were initiated to control the fire.

According to the local police the fire broke out inside the Palghar MIDC area at around 4 pm, following which several fire tenders reached the spot. After hours of effort, the fire was controlled and the cooling process started.

During the incident, no one was reported injured. However, huge damage to the establishment and the materials kept inside was caused by the fire.

The police have registered an FIR into the matter and a probe has been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
