Police after analysing the CCTV footage, nabbed primary suspect Abdul Rehman.

During interrogation, Rehman revealed that he had sold the gold and had bought a phone with some of the money. He further mentioned that he had sent a large portion of the money to his accomplice in West Bengal.

Later, police scrutinised the call detail records of Rehman and it helped them determine the precise location and identity of his accomplice in West Bengal.
