Rajasthan's new CM rings in the New Year with acts of compassion and addresses Citizen concerns

Jaipur: Rajasthan's new Chief Minister, Bhajanlal Sharma, commenced the New Year by visiting shelter homes in Jaipur, according to reports. During this visit, he distributed warm clothes to homeless individuals and inspected the living conditions at Ram Niwas Bagh and JK Lone Hospital. 

Accompanied by Rajasthan BJP Organisation General Secretary Chandrashekhar, Sharma discussed the shelters' conditions with officials, ensuring proper care for the residents, as reported.

Displaying further compassion, the new Rajasthan CM personally draped blankets around disabled individuals.

Moreover, on New Year's Eve, the CM held a Janta Darshan in Jaipur, attentively listening to the concerns of the state's citizens. Elected from the Sanganer assembly seat, the Chief Minister, representing the BJP, took his oath on December 15, 2023, in Jaipur. He secured victory by claiming 145,162 votes against his Indian National Congress (INC) rival, Pushpendra Bhardwaj, who lost with 97,081 votes. In the recent elections held on November 25, the BJP triumphed on 115 seats, while the Congress secured 69 seats out of 199 assembly seats in Rajasthan. These elections aimed for a majority mark of 100 seats.
