Roof Collapses at Under-Construction Site in Rajasthan's Rajsamand, 4 Killed
Rajasthan roof collapse: Two laborers died at the scene, while the other two succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
Jaipur: Four labourers were killed while six others were injured when the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in Rajsamand district, Rajasthan, police said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at a community hall construction site in the Khamnor area, where 13 laborers were working. The roof collapsed on Monday night, trapping 10 of the laborers, according to Rajsamand Collector Bhanwar Lal.
Two laborers died at the scene, while the other two succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Five injured individuals are receiving care at Rajsamand district hospital, and one laborer is in critical condition at Udaipur district hospital, the officer added.
The deceased have been identified as Kalu Lal, Shanti Lal, Bhagwati Lal, and Bhanwar Lal.
