New Delhi: Another video has surfaced that claims the circumstances leading to the basement flooding at Delhi's Rau IAS Institute. The footage, which has gone viral, clearly shows a black SUV driving through the water accumulated outside the institute.

According to the Director of Delhi Fire Service, this reckless act was a contributing factor to the disaster. The strong force of water exerted by the vehicle caused the institute's gate to collapse, allowing water to accumulate inside the basement.

The video shows the severity of the situation. The water level outside the institute was so high that even a bike appeared to be submerged. The impact of the vehicle's passage is evident as water gushes through the broken gate and into the building.

Delhi Coaching Flood Students Protest

The deaths of the three civil services aspirants have sparked outrage among students and demand for accountability from the Delhi government.

Students of Rau's IAS Study Circle and other institutes have expressed voiced their anger over the incident, highlighted safety violations at coaching centres across the city, and raised questions over the "negligence" of the Delhi government.

A student, who did not wish to be named, said Delhi authorities showed "negligence" when there were similar incidents in Mukherjee Nagar and did not take any strict action even then.

He also highlighted last week's incident in Patel Nagar, where a civil services aspirant got electrocuted in a waterlogged street following heavy rain in the national capital.

Another student said, "There is a systemic problem in these coaching centres with a lack of interest in safety measures." "There are no fire exits or emergency exits. Those with a bright future are at risk. We want to serve the nation by joining the bureaucracy, and if the system doesn't work for us, we will lose faith in it," the civil services aspirant said, as she urged locals and fellow students to join the cause.

Delhi Coaching Flood

The Delhi Police has registered an FIR and formed multiple teams to probe the Rajinder Nagar coaching centre flooding incident which killed three IAS aspirants.

The police have arrested the owner and the coordinator of the Rau's IAS Study Circle and booked them for culpable homicide and other charges.

This new evidence raises serious questions about the circumstances surrounding the incident and the responsibility of those involved.

As investigations continue, calls for stricter regulations to prevent such occurrences in the future are growing louder.
