STF Kolkata & Bihar STF jointly unearth illegal firearms manufacturing unit, 3 nabbed

Gopalpur, Odisha: In a joint operation with the State Task Force (STF) Bihar Police, the Kolkata Police uncovered an illegal improvised guns manufacturing factory and captured three suspects.

The accused individuals identified as Dharmendra Kumar alias Dharo (30), Abhishek Kumar alias Chotu (25) and Vikask Kumar alias Raja (23) were taken into custody.

Police also discovered three improvised country-made single-shot firearms, one lathe machine, one milling machine, one drilling machine, and a large quantity of working tools and machinery used in the manufacture of improvised firearms, as well as a large quantity of iron bars (raw materials) used in the manufacture of improvised firearms.

Following that, the Police Station was alerted to pursue the necessary legal action against the accused.
