Sushant & Disha were murdered, Aaditya Thackeray will go to jail: Narayan Rane as SIT probe begins

BJP leader and MSME Minister Narayan Rane, on Saturday, made an explosive claim about the deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and her manager Disha Salian, both of who died just a week apart in 2020. 

Speaking to reporters today, Rane said that both Sushant and Disha were murdered and accused the then Uddhav Thackeray government of being involved in their deaths.

“I have already said this, both Sushant Singh and Disha Salian have been murdered,” Rane said. Targeting Uddhav's government, he added, “It was their government at the time and there was a minister's involvement in it.”

His statement comes after a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has begun investigating the case. While Disha died on June 8, 2020, after allegedly jumping off her building, Sushant was reported dead by suicide on June 14.

During his media interaction, Rane also dragged in Uddhav's son Aaditya Thackeray who is allegedly linked to Disha's death. “Now the truth will come out and Aaditya Thackeray will have to go to jail,” Rane said. 

Notably, the minister had accused Aaditya of being involved in the case in 2021 as well. 

Reacting to the SIT's investigations, Aaditya recently told reporters, "The BJP is conspiring these things out of fear. It is a long-time strategy of the BJP to malign the image of the opposition leader by levelling fake charges and allegations of corruption.
