Jamshedpur: In an effort to boost rail connectivity across the country to further enhance passengers' convenience, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express on Sunday, September 15.

The new train of Vande Bharat series is expected to take forward govt's initiative to foster seamless connectivity. The highly-anticipated high speed train promises to offer passengers a faster, more comfortable journey between the Tatanagar in Jharkhand and Patna in Bihar . The train was initially planned to start operations in August after a successful trial run, however, it got slightly delayed.

Reduced Travel Time

The Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express is expected to reduce travel time drastically. At present, the journey between Tatanagar and Patna takes over 10 hours and with the launch of this Vande train the travel time will be cut to 7 hours providing a major relief to travellers. The Vande Bharat trains offer modern facilities and semi-high-speed capabilities, making it one of the most advanced trains in India. It will redefine travel experience between the two states.

Key Details

The new Vande train is a new addition to the growing network of Vande Bharat, further strengthening connectivity between the two neighboring states of Jharkhand and Bihar . The train service will operate six days a week, offering a faster and more efficient travel option for passengers.

Route and Timings:

The high-speed train will leave Tatanagar at 5.30am and reach in Patna at 12.20pm. While during its return journey, it will depart Patna at 2.15 PM and arrive in Tatanagar at 9:05pm.

Stoppages:

The train will have several stoppage at key stations, including in Gaya, Koderma, Parasnath, Chakradharpur and Bokaro Steel City. This strategically-planned route will benefit a large number of passengers who commute regularly between these cities.
