UP: Goods train derailed near Chandari station on Delhi-Howrah track in Kanpur

Kanpur: Wagons of goods train derailed near Chandari station on Delhi Howrah track of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. 

Three coaches of the goods train derailed.

The goods train was on the loop line.

Repair work  was underway by railway employees.

Earlier on Sunday night, a freight train derailed between Beohari and Chhataini railway station on the Katni-Singrauli stretch, narrowly averting a massive train tragedy.

According to sources, the coal-laden freight train was traveling from Katni to Singrauli when, at about 2:30 in the morning, six of the wagons derailed for unknown reasons.

After receiving information, officials raced to the scene and began rescue and restoration efforts. According to sources, there were no casualties recorded in the collision, but the Katni-Singrauli route's commutation was nonetheless impacted.

On Monday, West Central Railway (WCR) diverted two trains. On Monday, Shaktipunj Express's up and down routes were rerouted, according to WCR official sources.
