No injuries were reported, and Chouhan safely continued his visit after the brief delay.
Baharagora, Jharkhand : Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ’s car got stuck in a muddy pothole amid heavy rains in Baharagora, Jharkhand on Monday. The minister was en route to attend a public rally when the incident occurred.
Local authorities and security personnel quickly rushed to the scene to assist in getting the vehicle out of the pothole. Despite the heavy rains and difficult road conditions, Minister Chouhan continued with his schedule, addressing the public rally soon after.
Eyewitnesses said the vehicle struggled to navigate through the waterlogged roads as torrential downpours battered the region throughout the day, causing flooding and worsening road conditions. No injuries were reported, and Chouhan safely continued his visit after the brief delay.
Addressing a public rally in Baharagora today, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "The clouds are raining, lightning is flashing and it is raining heavily but still you are determined to bring about a change...Seeing this, today I can say that the darkness will go away, the Sun will rise, the lotus will bloom, and change will come...."
He also attacked the Soren-led government saying,"Just as clouds have come as a crisis, Hemant Soren government is a bigger crisis than these clouds...This is not JMM but 'Jurm, Murder and Mafia' govt run by Hemant Soren..."
He added,"On behalf of the PM, I promise the women of Jharkhand - make BJP government in Jharkhand and the soil here will be safe and also the daughters here will be safe."
