'Wanted Revenge,' Confesses Ghaziabad Maid Who Urinated in Employer's Food
A maid in Ghaziabad confessed to urinating in her employers' food as an act of revenge against them. She has been arrested.
Ghaziabad: In a shocking incident, a maid has been arrested for allegedly contaminating dough intended for making rotis by mixing in urine in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad.
The accused, Reena (32), had worked for a local businessman’s family for eight years.
According to police, the situation came to light when Rupam Gautam, the wife of real estate businessman Nitin Gautam, became concerned after several family members began experiencing liver problems.

Suspecting Reena's involvement, the family installed a hidden camera in the kitchen. The footage, captured on Nitin Gautam's mobile phone, allegedly shows her adding urine to the flour meant for rotis.

Based on this video evidence, the family filed a complaint, resulting in Reena's arrest.
According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Wave City, Lipi Nagaich, "During interrogation, the maid initially denied the allegations. However, when confronted with the video, she confessed to her actions. She claimed her motivation stemmed from a desire for revenge after being frequently reprimanded by her employer for minor mistakes."
Reena has been charged under Section 272 of the Indian Penal Code for food or drink adulteration, which could pose serious health risks.
