While no names have been announced officially, let us take a look at the Aam Aadmi Party leaders and close aides of Kejriwal, who may be called the key contenders for this post…
Sunita Kejriwal
The first name that may come to the minds of most people is Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Arvind Kejriwal . A former civil servant, Sunita Kejriwal is not a politician but during the time her husband was behind the bars, she was the one who had been leading rallies and protests. Sunita Kejriwal can be a contender for the position of Delhi Chief Minister.

An Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP, Raghav Chadha's name can be part of the key contenders list as he is a young leader who understands the youth; Chadha could be a refreshing change as the Chief Minister of Delhi.
Saurabh Bharadwaj
Another important AAP leader, whose name cannot be missed out from the list of frontrunners for the Delhi CM position is Saurabh Bharadwaj, who again has been in the front and has fiercely stood by the political party, both as the Health Minister and as a member of Aam Aadmi Party.

Arvind Kejriwal Announces Resignation, Calls for Early Polls
"Two days later, I will resign as Chief Minister. I will not sit on that chair till the people announce their verdict. Elections in Delhi are months away. I got justice from the legal court, now I will get justice from the people's court. I will sit on the Chief Minister's chair only after the order of the people," Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said while announcing his resignation during his first address after getting bail in the Delhi Excise Policy Case.
Arvind Kejriwal said that he would accept the chief minister's post only if people certify his honesty in the upcoming Delhi assembly elections. “We will go to the court of people to prove our innocence,” said Kejriwal. He also demanded that the elections in the National Capital should be held in November this year along with the assembly polls in Maharashtra instead of February next year as per the schedule.
