Railway Launches Sangyaan App, Know More About Features, Utility in Details

Info: In a move to strengthen enforcement capabilities, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has launched a mobile application called "Sangyaan". 

Developed by the RPF's Tech Team, Sangyaan is designed to educate and empower RPF personnel with in-depth information on recent and existing legal frameworks.

Key Features of Sangyaan App:

Comprehensive Legal Library: Access the bare acts of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) 2023, optimized for mobile readability.

Law Comparison Tool: Compare specific sections of new and old laws to understand legal changes and continuities.

Section-wise Analysis: Deep dives into key sections of the BNSS and BNS, focusing on their application in RPF operations from a procedural standpoint.

Advanced Search: Efficiently navigate legal texts with section-wise, chapter-wise, and subject-wise search functionalities.

Inclusive Legal Resource: Sangyaan goes beyond the new acts, providing access to other crucial railway security legislations like The Railway Protection Force Act (1957), The Railway Act (1989), The Railway Property (Unlawful Possession) Act (1966), and RPF Rules (1987).

Alongside the app, the RPF Director General also released a handbook on the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023, available in both e-book and print formats.  This handbook details the practical application of the Act in RPF operations.
