Son uses artificial Intelligence magic to give mom a surprise for Christmas: Dad's voice is back

Losing a loved one is one of the worst things and knowing that you won’t hear their voice is one of the biggest heartbreaks a person can have. But what if you are able to hear that voice again, saying your name.

In a heartfelt gesture a digital creator, named Phillip Willett, gifted his mother a surprise on Chirtsmas. With an Artificial Intelligence software he created his father’s voice.

Shared on Instagram on December 21, the video has garnered over 35,000 views. Willett's father succumbed to pancreatic cancer a year and a half ago, prompting him to devise a special Christmas gift for his mother. Longing to hear his father's voice again, he employed AI software to precisely replicate it, resulting in an astonishing outcome, as he expressed in his caption.

In the video, Willett's mother unwraps the gift to find a motion book—a photo album that plays videos. As she activates it, her reaction is one of genuine surprise. The AI-generated voice, remarkably resembling his father's, tenderly conveys, "Hi honey, I love you. I hear your prayers. I want you to know, you are the best mother to our kids. And you are the strongest woman in the whole world. I am always with you, honey."
